My thoughts on this class are that I'm so glad I took it. I feel like I learned a whole new world of organizing by using Gmail and Google documents because I never used them before. This class will help me in the future by teaching me how to prepare for a paper and the power of organization! I feel like this class is so enjoyable because all of the students can relate to the theme of Web 2.0 since we all use the internet. Many English classes use books and multiple choice tests to learn but I feel like this way is so much better because if you have a connection with something you grasp the concept so much more.

Self-Reflective Piece 11u
To be honest I never written a paper longer than five pages before. After just doing the first draft I can honestly say that I had the ability to elaborate on topics all because of this English class. My writing is developing tremendously because I feel like I finally learned important aspects of researching like qualitative research interviews and using the John Jay library to get my sources for my paper. Another way my writing developed is that it does not take me as long to think of elaborating on a topic or idea and my sentences are flowing much smoother. This English class showed me the importance of preparing for a big paper by using all of my resources available to me.

1. What do you think of people that do not use social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter?
2. What do you think of teachers and students becoming friends on Facebook?
3. For older people who do not have a Facebook or social networking account because they think it is stupid or dumb, what would you say to them?
4. (Question directed for people who did not grow up with the internet) Was it a hard transition on learning how to use the internet?
5. What would you say to a teenager saying that Facebook and other social networking sites are only meant for kids to connect with each other?
